[04 Dec 2003|12:04am] I apologize to anyone who might be reading this about my lack of updates. But I don't think anyone besides Shindo does, so I suppose it doesn't really matter. I've been really busy with Go, so I haven't had much time. I won all my games in November, and the one I had yesterday. I have another one for the Honinbou League on friday, but I'm not worried... I don't think I have a game to look forward to until the 17th (Ashiwara), and then on the 29th I play Shiindo's friend. I don't think he likes me very much, but it doesn't matter unless he can beat me. I played Shindo last friday. I won - but to his credit, it wasn't easy. Afterward I made him dinner at my house, because I "owed" him, he said. (Oh, well. I offered, so I can't complain.) Is it really that surprising that I can cook? Also, father has been acting kind of strange... He went somewhere yesterday, I think it was to meet with Kuwabara-sensei. Ah, I don't know. ( Private ) on a winning streak

[17 Nov 2003|07:12pm] Hmm, I really haven't been keeping up with this journal... I guess I'm just not used to it yet. And I really don't have much to say. I won my Honinbo game on Thursday, and I don't have to play again until Wednesday, so I've been studying kifu and practicing a lot up at the Go center. I think father is getting bothered with how much I'm working, though, so I might take tomorrow off. Shindo, do you want to meet at the salon tomorrow, then? [10 Nov 2003|05:10pm] I won my Kisei Preliminary game today. I have an Oteai match tomorrow afternoon, but I don't think it will be difficult. I have seven games this month... I'll have lots of time to study, I suppose. I'm playing Shindo at the end of the month. Of course, I play him a lot, but official games are always different for some reason. [03 Nov 2003|06:18pm] [ mood | cold ] My father got a journal. I'm happy about that; I'll be able to keep up with him while he's away. These journals seem to be getting really popular... I suppose that's good. They're supposed to help with publicity in the Go world, right? So maybe it's working. Though a lot of the people just seem to be friends of Shindo's. My house is really cold. I don't usually keep it that warm, because there's hardly ever anyone here, but it seems that keeping to door to the computer room closed all the time has kept any warm air from getting in here at all. With the onset of winter and all... Somehow I think that frostbite of the fingers would be detrimental to my career, so I'm going to go make something nice and warm for dinner. Shindo, I'll meet you around four tomorrow? And we are not having ramen for dinner. 5 titles earned -- on a winning streak

Just trying this out... [02 Nov 2003|11:39pm] [ mood | productive ] To be honest, I was wary when the Go Assosiation offered us these journals, but Shindo insisted I get one. It'd be fun, he said. I bet he didn't even notice that he was dripping ramen onto his shirt. But I suppose it'll be a good way to keep in touch with everyone when they're busy with games and such. So that's a good thing. So, I don't really have much to say. I'm just getting to feel of this thing, since I don't use computers very often. I usually only use them for Go, actually...
